Deadheading (2018)
aka: Dead HeadingDirector: David Easton
Writer: David Easton
DEADHEADING is one of the dullest films I've seen in a long time.
Flight attendant Anna (Lisa Ronaghan THE CENSOR) arrives in London shagged and fagged seeking only a bit of kip. She ends up meeting John (Bryan Larkin OUTPOST: RISE OF THE SPETSNAZ) in the hotel bar they are staying at; they hook-up and make the beast with two backs. In the morning she wakes up with John beside her. Only he is dead. With his belt tightly wrapped around his neck. And stab wounds on his chest. Anna can't recall what happened the night before. Nothing. Nothing until the script calls for her to remember all anyway. Panicking, as we all surely would, she devises a plan to get rid of the body instead of calling the police.
Thrill to a tour of Anna's hotel room in real time!
See people sitting on an airplane!
Marvel at Anna ordering and eating a steak and chip dinner!
The endless scenes are seemingly endless.
I was fast forwarding like a mother and yet scenes continued on and on. There's no plot to miss. The slight amount of blood and gore is limited to a few CGI blood sprays. The actors are unable to command the viewer's attention. There's nothing here of interest. The ninety minute runtime could be compacted down to thirty minutes without missing anything of importance and still be dull.
Here's all you need to know about the film so you can skip watching it. Anna kills people in a blacked out state of mind and doesn't remember her dirty deeds. That's it, that's the film.
1/2 * out of ****
